SystemVu Client is a stand-alone program, but it will not provide anything useful, without a SystemVu Server on your network.
The way that the SystemVu Client-Server licensing works, you can install as many SystemVu Clients as you like. The limiting factor is the number of concurrent licenses that your SystemVu Server has enabled. So, if no more than 10 clients will ever be connected to the SystemVu Server, at one time, even if you have 50 client software packages installed, you will only need 10 client licenses. The 11th client will get an error message when they try to connect. There is even a web interface, to see the active clients who are attached to the server.
