SystemVu - What ya got there, sport?

So, it started a few years ago with a single customer, trying to locate some radios in a very large petrochemical facility. They weren't stolen... they were just mis-allocated Over the years, it was easy to see how this happened, but how do you find them now? SystemVu!

Well, it has grown into a lot more: support for up to 60 repeaters, individual and consolidated traffic views, configurable for the most popular (and some obscure) decoder protocols, printer and/or database logging, a mini-webserver to view SystemVu status from a web browser and much, much more.

— And... if you don't see a feature that is near and dear to you... just ask. SystemVu is shaped by it's users. You can help shape it, too!

Product Specifications
  • Real-time display of Radio activity.
  • Visual (color) indication of Repeater on-air activity (for decoders that provide the necessary data). Real-time display of Repeater transmitter on-air status available, with additional hardware.
  • Ability to watch for specific radio ID's, with alarms, email and modem paging.
  • Stores the traffic data and watch data into a Microsoft Access Database (or flat text file) for additional searching and reporting.
  • Maintains Repeater Usage and Traffic Statistics, by hour, by day. Bar Chart Reports display the Usage and Traffic Data.
  • Network Access to Real-Time Data, to multiple W9x and NT/W2k/XP clients.
  • Supports up to 10 Repeaters, via the use of 10 serial connections.
  • User friendly and easy to use.
  • User Selectable Fonts for the traffic windows and the Emergency Console.
  • Better Database recovery, after failures, crashes, system shutdown/logoff, while SystemVu is running.
  • Password protection of SystemVu Client/Server and Single-user configuration information, as well as other operational functionality.
  • Ability to deploy SystemVu as a pre-configured package. Great for IT deployments.
  • Client deployment support. Allows the pre-configuration of the SystemVu Client, so that the client installs with a preset configuration, easing IT deployment and support requirements.
  • Better logging and log preservation (maintains the last 30 days of logs!).
  • Better Database Event Logging. SystemVu now logs events for Start Monitor, Stop Monitor, Emergency Signal, Acknowledge Emergency, Emergency Console ON and Emergency Console OFF. These events are also logged locally for SystemVu Clients.
  • Dynamic, Server-wide management of Radio Alias Names. A client can change an Alias and the changes are sent to the server and distributed to all clients, from that point on.
  • Better handling of sites with very large numbers of radios. In previous versions, a linear list of radios was searched each time, to add new radios to SystemVu. A high-speed search has replaced this.
  • Emergency Signaling with Emergency specific alarms and alerts. New Enhanced Emergency Console window. Ability to Acknowledge individual (or ALL) Emergency Alarms.
  • Support for Repeater Traffic coming in on a single Serial Port. This supports the Cimarron C-Plus Decoders, with a RS-232 Concentrator. Note: Not all Line Input Filters provide an embedded Channel Number and therefore will not work with this capability.
  • Printer Logging.
  • Repeater Watch-Dog with Client Alert.
  • A Logging Only version of SystemVu, for those not needing the multi-user power of SystemVu Server.
  • Encode control of radios.
  • Selectable Line Input Filters. Each Serial Communication Port can have a different Line Input Filter assigned. Recent architecture changes will support easily adding Line Input Filters in the future. The following Input Filters have been added:
  • Control Signal ID-1201 (was present in Version 1.0)
  • C PLUS II/III Scroll Mode
  • C PLUS II/III Message/Assignment Mode
  • Cimarron Translated
  • Cimarron C-Mark II and III Classic
  • Cimarron Multi-Channel ANI Format, Standard & FleetSync™
  • MODAT
  • BED-31/1207 Extended and Standard
  • CML
  • NYSP NY State Patrol
Product Versions

SystemVu Logger - SystemVu Logger is an inexpensive decoder logger, that has much of the look and feel of the regular SystemVu, without the emergency console or the ability to encode to radios. It also contains no support for client access over the network. A single decoder version of the SystemVu Logger is available for free. Just run a cable from the decoder to your PC and your up & running.

Single User SystemVu - SystemVu Single User is really just the Server side of the Client/Server package, except that the client access capability has been disabled. Just run a cable from your decoder to your PC and your up and running.

Client/Server SystemVu - Add the capability to connect clients to SystemVu and you have a network wide solution to monitoring your radio traffic. SystemVu Client licenses are available in any quantity and are managed as concurrent users, at the server. So, any number clients can install the SystemVu client software.
