MP3_Split is a little project that I have been working on for a couple of years. It was originally designed for me, as a way of building randomly ordered CD's of my MP3's (made from my original CD's, of course). It does'nt have a lot of features yet:
Loads your directory tree of MP3, WMA and WAV files
Supports multiple specified source directories
Displays tags and/or audio file information
Does a random distribution, into CD sized lists
Copies these to a directory structure, by CD
Allows distribution of CD content by file-size or run-time
Use your favorite CD Software to burn the CD's
Burn directly to Audio or Data CD
Tip! Current status of changes are on the Help->View Release Notes Menu and in the install directory in the file: changes.txt, after installing the latest version.
Also, the following is still not ready in this version, but I hope to have them done soon:
Program Documentation
So, if you have any ideas about enhancing this toy, please fill out this form
and send it off.
Cool Tool Tip - Do the different volumes on your MP3's have you racing to the volume knob when the next song starts to play? Our links page has
information on a cool product called MP3Gain. I use it... it works great!
And now SourceForge has taken up the challenge of maintaining it. |
